Eric Jenson the author of " Arts With The Brain In Mind" wrote this book in order to show the arts should be supported. He claims that the arts are an important part of learning and getting an education. Jenson develops his first claim by stating that the arts can have something to do with test scores. He says this because the arts challenges kids to think outside the box and for their own. Jensons second claim says the arts stimulate our brains, it nourishes our integrated sensory, attentional, cognitive, emotional and motor capacities which are main the main things behind all other learning. Lastly Jenson challenges the fact that the arts make educational too enjoyable but make it more interesting so kids want to learn more. The purpose of this book is to show how the arts play a big part in educational development in order to get the point of the arts being so important out.
