Carol Bursztyn wrote a small article named " Young Children and the Arts: Nurturing Imagination and Creativity" which argues that the arts are very important to toddlers and up. She claims that the arts helps to develop a better and faster learning process. Bursztyn first develops her claim by saying the arts introduce young minds to "participatory experiences." Bursztyn then goes on to defend her claim be stating the arts take a comprehensive approach to learning that is aligned with early childhood. The final thing Bursztyn does is openly states her opinion that the arts is the foundation for all other learning. Carol Bursztyn has a clear purpose to show the arts play a big role in a young child's life in order to show exactly how the arts and brain development work.
